However, the spirit of the brand was kept alive when Heaven Hill acquired the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY, in 1999, along with the Old Fitzgerald brand. This 13-year-old bourbon, distilled in 1999, is a tribute to the 25th anniversary of this pivotal moment, representing Heaven Hill’s dedication to preserving and continuing the Old Fitzgerald legacy.
