Los Vecinos del Campo Espadin Mezcal is a small-batch mezcal from the Valles Centrales region of Oaxaca. Produced by 10 master mezcaleros, it is made from 100% Espadin agave using traditional methods. The mezcal offers a spicy start that transitions to tropical fruits, ginger, and roasted peppers. It has earned 5 stars from F. Paul Pacult’s Spirit Journal and 94 points from the 2018 Ultimate Beverage Challenge. The project is led by Carmen Villarreal of Casa San Matias, in collaboration with Sazerac.
