An unusually dry winter and warm spring led to delayed budbreak, while light rains in March resulted in smaller clusters and berries, yielding concentrated flavors. Despite a fast-paced early harvest in August due to heat, a mid-September cool-down allowed for sugars to align with flavor development. Moderate temperatures in late September provided extended hangtime for the grapes, producing a dense, pure, and polished wine.
