Way back in 1876, Prosper Delord started this journey, traveling farm to farm in the Bas Armagnac region with his pot still. His spirit (pun intended!) caught the attention of many, and soon after tying the knot with Marie Duffau, they laid the foundation of what is today’s renowned brand in 1925.
Fast forward to now, and the legacy is alive and well with Jérome and Sylvain, the great grandsons. Still deeply rooted in the heart of Bas Armagnac with a lush 42-hectare vineyard, they’ve been rocking the spirit world by sticking to the old-school way: slow single distilling, top-notch fruits, and a killer combo of limousin and gascon oak barrels for aging. The result? An Armagnac that’s rich, full of natural colors, and bursting with spicy notes.
