High Coast Timmer is a robust peated single malt whisky crafted in northern Sweden as part of the distillery’s Origins series — a tribute to the region’s rich logging history and natural beauty. This expression is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon barrels, lending a creamy vanilla backdrop to its bold campfire smokiness.
The whisky is made from pilsner malt and peated malt, sourced from both Belgian and Scottish maltsters, peated up to 46ppm. Distilled using pristine water from Bålsjön and aged in a mix of 200-liter bourbon barrels and 130-liter quarter casks, Timmer reflects Swedish terroir and precision. It is bottled at 48% ABV, with no chill-filtration and no added coloring, preserving the integrity of its aroma and texture.
