The Bomberger ‘s 2020 Release is a flavourful Kentucky Straight Bourbon with a distinctly smooth character that belies its 108 strength of proof. The Master of Maturation, Andrea Wilson, selected barrels made from special wood that have been naturally air-dried for over 3 years for the aging of this product. While some barrels of Chinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) oak were used in the maturation of the 2019 Bomberger ‘s Release, this year our development team decided to increase the proportion of the bourbon that spent time in Chinquapin oak. The exceptional partnership elevates the unique qualities of this magnificent straight bourbon from Kentucky.
